  • 1. Episode 1

    A terrified Terrier known as Tiny, arrives at the centre. His owner of 5 years has been taken into care, and now he’s got to be brave enough to win over some new owners. Could they be Heather and Elliot? This thirtysomething old couple are hoping Tiny wants to wear a dog-sized leather jacket, and that he will be the bundle of joy that brightens Heather’s life when she’s feeling low.

  • 2. Episode 2

    A two year old Pomeranian called Bear arrives at the centre, rescued from a life spent in a cage on a puppy farm. With the help of his handler Gemma, can Bear learn to trust again, and even possibly win the hearts of a new family looking for a dog to join their collection of cats? He’s off to a good start with 16 year old Louise – who prefers animals to people.

    Ten German Shepherd puppies descend on Wood Green. At 8 weeks old, they’re ready to be socialised in a home, but how will potential owners pick just one?! The Stephens family from Liverpool face the difficult task. Will they be drawn to the outgoing one that will fit into chaotic family life? Or will quieter teenage son Noah get his way?

    An excitable French Bulldog, Buddy, arrives at the centre. His owners have tried to sell him seven times but he's ended up being rejected from every home. Will the team be able to find a forever home for him once and for all? Or will Buddy be too much for chilled brothers Uriah and Josh?

    The young and the old arrive at Wood Green. Curious four-month old terrier puppies Bobo and Lenny start scouting out their new surroundings. Brother and sister are completely different in looks and personality, but both need a forever home. Will Bobo be the dog 5 year old Summer-Joules has been asking Father Christmas, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy for this past year? Or perhaps only child Abigail will finally find a companion to keep her entertained – but which puppy will she choose?

  • 6. Episode 6

    Loki a young Labrador arrives at the centre; nervous and unwilling to part from his owner who can’t take him into rented accommodation. Things seem to be looking up when Loki meets seasoned dog owner Sharron – a Royal Navy nurse. Sharron knows exactly what she’s looking for in a dog but will a recent injury hold her back?

  • 7. Episode 7

    Wally, a poodle cross, struggles to find a home. Despite four unsuccessful rehomings, and over a year spent in the centre, the team still hold out hope that the perfect owner can be found for him. But it will take a special person to handle Wally’s increasingly tricky behaviour and behaviour quirks.

  • 8. Episode 8

    A lurcher with a broken tail arrives with the stray warden. She’s been used for hare-coursing, and needs some serious TLC. Her confidence has all but disappeared, but can Julie, a scout-leader from Kent, find something to love in her?
